Bertie County Retired School Personnel Recruit New Members
at the Schools' May 2026 End of Year Banquet
Bertie County Retired School Personnel recently made a special effort to welcome retiring
educators and staff to continued service and support of the schools by encouraging them
to join North Carolina Retired School Personnel (NCRSP) and the Bertie County Retired
School Personnel (BCRSP). Members staffed an information table at the entrance of the End
of Year Banquet, greeting attendees and their guests as they arrived. They shared membership packets with the new retirees about the benefits of membership and applications to join.

Bertie County Retired School Personnel Honors Educators During National Teachers Appreciation Week
On National Teacher Appreciation Day, May 5, 2026, Bertie Chapter of NCRSP showed their gratitude in a simple but meaningful wayby delivering fruit baskets to all the schools and the central office in the county. The baskets were shared as a small reminder that teachers are valued, supported, and remembered not only by the students they serve today, but by the generations they have guided over the years.
